Wild partying, driving offences and vandalising a neighbour's house with eggs... those days are gone according to pop prince Justin Bieber .
And the 21-year-old star, who had multiple brushes brushes with the law last year, insists he has moved on and wants to focus on his career.
He also hopes fans will like the material from his new album.
The Boyfriend hitmaker told Hero Magazine that his upcoming album will reflect his maturity, but admitted he is also nervous about how fans will react to his new music.
He said: "The biggest difference is that I'm older. I was 17 when I recorded most of my last album and I'm 21 now. I've been through a lot in a public way, which gives me a much different perspective on things. I am working with producers like Kanye [West] and Rick Rubin who have influenced me and the music I listen to in a big way."
He also apologised for his bad-boy behaviour.
He told the publication: "I hope people felt the sincerity in my apologies. There are a lot of things that have happened in the last couple years that I'm not very proud of, and I feel a responsibility to my fans and to the public who believe in me to make it right. I hope everyone believed it - because it was honest."
The former YouTube sensation, who has just settled a lawsuit with the Miami photographer that he assaulted , said that he has been on a personal journey.
The Baby star said: "The creative process this time around is more personal. When I was younger I would take other people's experiences, now I have my own to draw from and it makes all the difference because it's a release.
"It's amazing because I'm able to really work out anything I am feeling in my music. I'm nervous whenever I put out new work because it's such a personal journey, but I try to remember music is meant to be enjoyed - so I try to roll with it."

While Drake was closing out the first weekend of Coachella Justin Bieber's time at the festival came to an early end. The Biebs was put in a chokehold and kicked out of the festival entirely,TMZ reports. The scuffle started when Bieber tried to go through the artist's entrance during Drake's performance and was told the area was at capacity. Bieber showed his wristband and said Drake himself had invited him. He even argued he couldn't wait in line because fans would be up in his grill, but security remained firm.

Eventually a Coachella staffer agreed to escort Bieber into the artist's area. As she was walking him in security came up and put him in a chokehold. His team got into it with security, and Bieber was ordered to leave the festival. Sources close to Bieber told TMZ he left voluntarily and that he's considering "legal action."

Watch video of the altercation above. Throughout the whole ordeal Drake's "Marvin's Room" can be overheard in the background, adding to the tragedy of it all.

Justin Bieber has something of a new look.
The 21-year-old singer rocked a black wig and some heavy guy-liner in a video clip from an upcoming episode of Lip Sync Battle.
One could almost believe that Ozzy Osbourne himself was on the stage during the performance.

In the preview from an upcoming episode of the star-studded reality show, Justin went all-out pretending to sing Ozzy's 1980 hit, Crazy Train.
He wore the 66-year-old metal rocker's signature messy hair as well as plenty of black leather and silver jewellery.
Justin even rocked Ozzy's guy-liner and expression - wildly wide-open eyes made the Biebz look fairly insane.

So many fans are antsy for Justin Bieber to put out his next album.  Selena Gomez is also pretty anxious for the album to come out — but NOT for the reasons you might think. As we have EXCLUSIVELY learned, Selena is now worried that the Biebs will sing about her new relationship with Zedd!

Selena Gomez, 22, is freaking out about Justin Bieber‘s new music. We have learned EXCLUSIVELY that Sel is terrified that the Biebs, 21, will drop beats about her bond with beau, DJ/producer, Zedd, 25! First the Roast, now this! She’s apparently embarrassed beyond words!

“She’s just praying that whatever Justin sings about isn’t a dig at her and especially at her relationship with Zedd, that would just be absolutely mortifying!” an insider tells.

“Selena is really worried that Justin is going to write about her in his new music. She’s freaking out that he’s going to diss her. They barely speak and she doubts he’s going to let her listen to his music before it’s released,” explained an insider.
Although Justin revealed on Ryan Seacrest‘s radio show that his former flame was a muse for his new music, she seems to be filled with anxiety instead of closure!
“A lot of my inspiration comes from her. It was a long relationship and a relationship that created heartbreak and created happiness and a lot of different emotions that I wanted to write about, so there’s a lot of that on this album,” said Justin during his interview back on April 2.

Justin Bieber is being sued by the neighbour whose house he egged, on the grounds of emotional distress. Jeff Schwartz claims that months before the star threw eggs at his house, his bodyguard shouted anti-semitic abuse.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the incident occurred on Memorial Day weekend, in May 2013. Schwartz and a friend had approached Bieber to ask him to stop speeding around the neighbourhood in Calabasas, California, because he was putting lives at risk. He says Bieber’s bodyguard then came over and called him “little Jew boy”, asking “What are you going to do about it, Jew boy?”
Schwartz is also claiming emotional distress based on the disturbance caused by Bieber’s parties and drag races, and alleges Bieber spat on him. The singer reportedly denies the spitting.
In January 2014, Bieber threw eggs at Schwartz’s home, causing thousands of dollars worth of damage. In July of that year he was ordered to pay $80,900 in damages and sentenced to two years’ probation for vandalism over the incident. He was also ordered to complete five days’ community service and a 12-week anger management course.
